Though Mother Nature says there are still a few weeks of winter left at various higher elevations, and I'll certainly be playing in the snow for a few more weeks this winter, I'm going to call this the official end of winter for this blog. Yep, on April 5th, a full two weeks after the calendar said it's spring and almost a month following the vernal equinox, Mountain Visions is slowly making the transition to another fine Northeastern US season; spring!
For what it's worth, while walking around Peebles Island State Park and Waterford, we did see some crocuses popping up. Spring is coming, even if it's still very much winter in many places around the region!
Enjoy a few images from this winter's adventures!
